Find mental health support in your local area
The Brighton & Hove Wellbeing Service offers therapeutic support to people aged 18+ though a number of treatments:
Trained Mental Health practitioners known as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) offer Guided Self-Help to people aged 18+ with mild to moderate anxiety and depression using low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions, including: courses, Silvercloud (online CBT) and 1:1 telephone support for low mood, sleep problems, phobias, panic or worry.
If you are experiencing mild to moderate depression, general anxiety and worry, panic attacks, social anxiety, traumatic memories and obsessive compulsive disorder, our IAPT service (Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies) provides different types of talking therapies, including workshops and courses, guided online therapy, and some one-to-one support for particular problems.
If you are seeking advice or information about yours or someone else's emotional wellbeing, or if you are using our service and need Employment Advice (currently working or off sick from work, requiring help to manage health issues in the workplace), we have a dedicated team of people at MIND in Brighton and Hove who are able to help.
Alongside our IAPT service, our Primary Care Practitioners are able to offer you short-term support if you're at a difficult time in your life. They can also discuss with you what other services are available to you in the city.
